The Accelerated Music Program (tm) (AMP) was developed by Peter Tilton and is the heart of the workshop learning process. AMP is a combination of components that cover all aspects of music and musicianship required for creating and playing live spontaneous music with other people by site, sound and feel.

Gypsy Jazz is about the guitar and Tony is a self-taught musician who has studied that masters and with Troy Chapman of Pearl Django.
The school will build learning through playing in groups, ear training and focusing the mind on the moment. Musicians and artists will expand their minds and their capability for both music and art perhaps one experimenting with the other as an exercise of the spirit. new earth music is an operating entity of new earth workshop (n.e.w.). n.e.w is an non-profit organization dedicated to a vision and strategy to bring art and music education, experience and spirit to all people with some for-profit activities and donations to support free or low cost access to music education & playing. The spirit of the organization is to bring people together in community to create and learn music and art together with a foundation of acoustic-style music and landscape or natural arts. The goal of community is to provide a music and art experience open to all while connecting with the world communities that are discovering a greater purpose for their lives.
The core learning foundation for n.e.w. is the workshop school. The first major installment is the music school. This represents a unique new approach to teaching music through ongoing workshops that teach music and musicianship primarily using all the natural senses with a minimum of written materials or music. The learning environment is more like a college course in music and the context is both broad and detailed down to a given string instrument.
The vision, strategy and plan for n.e.w. is inspired by a hope to counteract or replace the dishonesty and the dark side of the world with communities of like-minded people who are joined in friendly ways to create music and art; to create a center of energy in the world where the sun shines and brings people away from the forces that create the bad side of life. Changing the trajectory of life on earth by even an infinitesimal percentage now provides a major opportunity for our future to land in a different galaxy than the one we are headed for now.

We also work and consult with a fine violin maker-dealer who buys, sells and trades instruments in the US and around the world. We get many violins from him and often go on a search for the perfect instrument.
Our inventory is fluctuates with ordering and selling patterns for a small business. There are many representative instruments for sale, but also a large availability of styles from major distributors. We can search and procure the perfect instrument for you. You can return it after a trial or for a good reason after purchasing.
Since we use major distributors and a violin maker-dealer, we can compete on price many times, although price-matching down to the penny reduces revenue for the non-profit side of the school. Proceeds go to a good cause.

All of the violins for sale are handmade quality. Most violins have been hand-selected from certain inventories and violin dealers based on expert assessment by a master violin maker and dealer, and inspected and tested for tone and volume by a professional violinist/fiddler. Please see detail descriptions for each instrument.
Whatever you buy can be used as full credit to trade up to a violin at the next level of craftsmanship and sound (sometimes), if you decide to do that someday. Some of these less expensive violins actually sound better than some of the violins that are handmade at the shop. There are a lot of variables.
