This is a workshop related to the free weekly program of the non-profit workshop music school at the Gypsy in Fremont taught by Peter Tilton, founder of the school and program.
For participants familiar with the workshop, this is a complete review of everything over the last 15 workshops including lots of playing on tunes and individual attention for each person to assess and target areas for improvement.
For new participants, this is a great opportunity to get a solid start on the workshop series, although this is not required to start at any time. This is also a good one-time workshop for participants who want to spend a day focused on playing and learning all aspects of music & musicianship.
The cost of the workshop is a non-profit sized $20 which includes a $10 lunch. Donations also accepted.
All string instruments welcome and other instruments welcome too...please email me. (Violin, fiddle, mandolin, guitar, mandola, viola, banjo, accordian, string instruments.) Music will be fiddle, bluegrass, swing jazz, gypsy jazz and variety. Music is selected to demonstrate concepts and techniques and participant interest and input.
